What does the Bundeswehr Self-Sufficiency Kit include?
In addition to the main courses, the German ration is famous for its generous supplements, designed to keep morale and hygiene high in the field:
- 🥖 The Legendary "Panzerplatten": The famous high-density German field crackers, ultra-resistant to impact and perfect for spreading.
- 🧀 Cheese Cream and Pâtés: Premium tubs of field liver pâté, processed cheese spreads, or high-concentration jams.
- 🧁 Performance Snacks and Sweets: High-purity, thermally stable German military chocolates, energy bars, and gummy candies.
- 🥤 Drink and Hydration Module: Powdered isotonic drinks enriched with electrolytes, premium freeze-dried coffees, select teas, and sugar.
- 🛠️ Tactical Accessory Kit: Water purification tablets, safety matches, chewing gum for dental care, refreshing wet wipes, and reinforced toilet paper.
Advantages of German Logistical Engineering
- Extreme Storage Resistance: All contents come perfectly fitted inside a thick, plastic-coated, and sealed cardboard box. This rigid, flat format is specifically designed to withstand impacts and drops, and to optimize space to the millimeter in 72-hour backpacks (Bug Out Bags) or in the car trunk.
- Flexible Field Preparation: The meals come completely precooked in reinforced aluminum trays. In critical emergency scenarios where a fire cannot be lit, they can be consumed cold while maintaining their nutritional value. If the situation permits, they can be heated in minutes on any field stove or using chemical heaters.
📝 Strategic Lot Note: This official Bundeswehr surplus lot has a best-before date indicated until FEBRUARY 28, 2027. Due to the strict military preservation standards used by NATO in their manufacture, their vacuum-sealed components maintain stability and optimal properties long after said date if stored in a dry place, making this an excellent opportunity to acquire a legendary ration at an unbeatable price.
German EPA (Einpersonenpackung) rations are, along with the French and American ones, the "Big Three" of military rations worldwide.
